What healing actually means.

For so long I thought that healing meant I’d someday be able to completely do away with the parts of me that I didn’t like.

Sex coaching + my own life experiences have taught me that’s not it at all.

Healing is accepting all the parts of you and all the things you do.

It’s knowing yourself deeply — knowing what you do to protect yourself when you get scared, humiliated, or hurt — and loving yourself even then.

It’s communicating vulnerably with your partners and friends about what you need, and who you are.

It’s owning the things that can be challenging about being in connection with you (yep: we ALL have aspects that are hard to be around) and knowing that even the less-fun sides of you deserve to be loved.

And it’s a never ending work in progress....
